Posted By admin On 01.02.20The Native American literature resources collected here include extensive annotated bibliographies by genre, discussion questions to accompany several popular literary works by and about American Indians, and one critical review. All were generously provided by Dorothea (Dottie) Susag, a retired Literature Arts teacher who taught for four years in Choteau and another twenty-one years in Simms. In 2005 she started working part time for OPI as a curriculum writer and expert in the implementation of 'Indian Education for All' in Montana's schools. Dottie puts on workshops and conducts classes on Native American Literature for teachers in schools across the state. She is also a member of Humanities Montana's speakers bureau, offering talks entitled ' and '.'
